ACCESSIBILITY

Accessibility is one of Cornucopia’s core values. We welcome all people to experience our art and programs, regardless of physical ability, race, religion, gender, cultural or ethnic background, or sexual orientation.

Our location at 103 Parkway Avenue North in Lanesboro (which we rent) is accessible to most individuals.

Persons in wheelchairs are faced with one step up when entering the facility. Staff and volunteers can assist those who need help entering. A ramp will be available in summer of 2005.

Gallery displays are arranged to accommodate wheelchair traffic.

The bathroom at the center is not handicap accessible. The nearest accessible bathroom facilities are at the Lanesboro Visitors Center, a distance of about 50 yards.

Gallery signage uses Arial 14 pt. font (or larger) to accommodate persons with vision impairment.

Cornucopia events that occur off-site are held in accessible facilities.

Live/work space secured for resident artists will meet their needs.

If you have questions about our ability to meet your needs as an artist, visitor, or class participant, please do not hesitate to contact us directly at 507-467-2446 or at info@lanesboroarts.org. We want your Cornucopia experience to be delightful and will do our best to make it so.
