Located in an 1870's brick commercial building above Cornucopia Art Center, the Art Lofts are steps away from the Root River Bike Trail, one block from live professional theatre and in the heart of shops, restaurants and services.

Art Retreats

The Art Lofts offer a quiet cocoon in the heart of historic downtown with comfortable live/work space for painting, drawing, handwork and writing. Treat yourself to uninterrupted time to work on your latest project or to germinate new ideas. Bookings of a week or more enjoy discounted rates. The chance to connect with area artists or to host an intimate "open studio" or public reading can be arranged through Cornucopia Art Center.

Art Loft Rates, Reservation & Cancellation Policies

• There is a two-night minimum stay for weekends from April 1 – Oct. 31. We recommend that weekend or holidays be booked early to assure your choice of dates.
• Each loft can accommodate up to 6 adults. Room rates of $100 per night are based on double occupancy. There is a $15 per night charge for each additional guest. Children 12 and under are free.
• The lofts are located on the second floor of an 1870’s commercial building, accessed by a flight of 25 steps. There is no elevator and the lofts are not handicap accessible. Please make sure that all members of your party can handle stairs before making a reservation.
• A 50% deposit is required upon booking; VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Discover are accepted. Personal checks must be received at least 2 weeks prior to arrival. Balance is payable upon arrival.
• Reservations are confirmed by email or post. All rates are subject to a total of 9.5% tax (6.5% MN Sales Tax & 3% Lodging Tax).
• We love pets but cannot accommodate them. There is no smoking at the lofts.
• Group Bookings: Group bookings (wedding, reunion, retreat) require one credit card/check to hold the room, a single contact person for the reservation and a single payment for the balance of the rental upon arrival.
• Cancellation Policy: Deposits will be returned, minus an office fee of $25 per room per night, if notice is received at least 14 days prior to arrival. With shorter notice, the full rental rate for the reservation will be charged unless the room is re-rented for full rate. If the room is re-rented, a refund, minus the cancellation fee, will be made.
